U.S. new homes sales hit eight-year high, point to firming economy

New U.S. single-family home sales recorded their biggest gain in 24 years in April, touching a more than eight-year high as purchases increased broadly, a sign of growing confidence in the economy's prospects.

Nueces County Real Estate Market Sees Sales Increase | Published: 6/2/2016 | Homesnap Real...

The Nueces County market looked solid in this week's report, as the number of home sales rose 100.0%, pushing the total to two homes sold over the last 30 days. The median sales price dropped dramatically to $325,000 over the latest reporting period for Nueces County, down from $605,000. Nueces County is still a definite buyer's market, due to the availability of 12 months of remaining inventory, even after the uptick in sales.
